Sprints in Notion are built with 4 core concepts

  1. Projects — Each project opens into its own page (like this one!) where you can add tasks and project details. All of your projects are also housed in your newly created Projects page.
  2. Tasks — All of your tasks live in the Tasks page. Like projects, tasks open as their own pages where you can add subtasks and assign them to projects. They can also be assigned to sprints.
  3. Sprints — Sprints are measurements of time that can contain any number of tasks. You can view and assign tasks to sprints on your Sprints page, or on any task page.
  4. Sprint board — The Sprint board combines all of the concepts listed above so that you can view your tasks, grouped by project, and filtered according to your current sprint.
